Dr. Boutros Mikhail is a physician and general practitioner with more than two decades of experience providing comprehensive health care in hospital and clinic settings. He is also a dermatology specialist with board certification in family medicine. Dr. Boutros Mikhail has cared for patients of all ages while focusing on prevention and diagnosis.

Dr. Mikhail has long emphasized chronic disease management through his work as a family physician. He has overseen the care of more than 2,200 patients in clinical practice, helping patients manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.

Dr. Mikhail worked as a family physician and casual emergency room physician in several rural Newfoundland community health centers. Working in primary care clinics and emergency departments exposed him to a broad range of acute and chronic illnesses. The experience strengthened his ability to assess patients with complex medical needs. His background in emergency medicine helps him recognize urgent conditions and respond quickly when patients require immediate intervention.

Alongside his responsibilities as a general practitioner, Dr. Mikhail holds a diploma in practical dermatology from Cardiff University. This enables him to diagnose and manage many skin disorders while continuing to provide comprehensive primary healthcare. His practice includes skin assessments, treatment of common dermatological conditions, skin cancer diagnosis,chronic dermatitis ,psoriasis and appropriate referrals when specialized care is required. In addition to clinical practice, Dr. Mikhail is an assistant clinical professor at McMaster University.
